BBC 1 Extra ‘Take Control’ Interview

17 11 2008

I was interviewed on Friday for BBC 1 Extra’s ‘Take Control’ program. The premise of the show is that some celebrities completed psychometric testing to see what their careers might have been in other circumstances and as Trevor Nelson showed a potential aptitude for computer programming; he came into glue to have a look at what we do and how I work.

BBC Trevor Nelson Interview

I am just happy that Trevor Nelson has heard of Java. You don’t get much streeter than that! I also feel I should mention that I have no intention of ever ‘sacking it all in and become a lawyer’ but it’s amazing what you come out with when somebody points a camera in your face. It would be amazing if it did in any way help to make anyone study Science or Maths though which is a pretty noble cause in my book, especially as I have just finished Cheney & Uth’s Nikola Tesla’s biography “Master of Lightning” and am convinced he is the coolest person that has ever lived. P.S They edited out the bit where I talked about my life-long love of Speed Garage – sorry Laxmi

Yes Rob! Good work. haha, I’m glad I wasn’t there that day though, lurking in the background! They seemed appropriately impressed, as they should have been – thumbs up!
